Why readers trust us

Crypto is full of sponsored hype. Our guides follow three rules, and our editorial policy explains exactly how.

No paid placements

Projects cannot pay to be covered, ranked or recommended. If we ever use affiliate links, they are labelled and never change our conclusions.

Primary sources first

We check protocol documentation, whitepapers, official announcements and on-chain data, and we link to them so you can verify.

Reviewed and dated

Every guide shows when it was last reviewed. Crypto changes fast, so we revisit our most-read guides on a schedule.

FAQ

Common beginner questions

Short, honest answers. Each one links to a full guide when you want the detail.

Is it too late to get into crypto?

There is no way to know where prices go next, and anyone who claims otherwise is guessing. What is never too late is learning how the technology works and how to protect yourself — that knowledge stays useful whatever the market does.

Most exchanges let you buy a small fraction of a coin, often from around $10. Start with an amount you could lose entirely without it affecting your life, and focus first on learning how to store it safely.

An exchange holds the keys for you, which is convenient but means you rely on that company staying solvent and secure. For larger or long-term holdings, many people move funds to a wallet they control, such as a hardware wallet.

A seed phrase (usually 12 or 24 words) is the master backup for a self-custody wallet. Anyone who has it can take your funds, and if you lose it you may lose access forever. Write it down offline and never type it into a website.

Staking can earn rewards, but it carries risks: your coins may be locked for a period, platforms can fail, and some methods involve smart-contract or slashing risk. Understand where the yield comes from before you commit.

No. We publish education and analysis to help you understand how things work. We do not know your circumstances, so nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any asset.
