Trust & transparency
Editorial policy
How we choose topics, research and review guides, handle corrections, and keep commercial interests away from our conclusions.
Independence
No company, project or individual can pay to be covered, reviewed, ranked or recommended on CryptoLurks. We do not publish sponsored articles or paid press releases.
If we ever use affiliate links, they will be clearly labelled next to the link, and they will never influence what we recommend or how we rank options.
How we research
- We prioritise primary sources: protocol documentation, whitepapers, code repositories, regulatory filings and official announcements.
- We verify on-chain claims with block explorers or established analytics tools.
- We link to sources in the text so readers can check them.
- We test tools and wallets ourselves where practical before writing step-by-step guides.
Review and updates
Every guide shows a published date and a last-updated date. We review our most-read guides regularly and update them when products, fees, rules or best practices change.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it promptly. Material corrections are noted at the end of the article with the date of the change. To report an error, contact us.
Holdings disclosure
Writers may own some of the assets they write about. Writers must not publish content intended to move prices, and must not trade an asset around the time they publish about it.
Not financial advice
Our content is educational. We do not know your financial situation, and nothing we publish is a personal recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. See our risk disclaimer.
Use of AI tools
We may use software tools to help with research, editing or checking. A human editor is responsible for every published guide and reviews it for accuracy before publication.
